In July, the team made a trip to the buzzing city of Kuala Lumpur, where we were treated to the most amazing South Indian and Northern Sri Lankan meal at Nadodi. Next month, we are off to Vietnam, to help an old friend with his new restaurant. And guess what? Our appetite isn’t quite done yet. So hang tight, our B(est) F(oodie) F(riend)s. Here’s a peek at our new clients across Asia Pacific.

Embracing the Nomadic Flavours of Nadodi
Nadodi, which means “nomad” or “wanderer” in Tamil and Malayalam, is a homage to the nomadic ancestors from Southern India and Sri Lanka, and the migratory nature of their food. The restaurant, which placed No. 62 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants this year, is dedicated to putting South Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine on the world’s culinary stage, with their creative and experimental take on heritage cuisines from Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Jaffna.

Celebrating The Return Of A Rockstar
Sam Aisbett, who first brought modern Australian cuisine in Singapore to Michelin Star status, is back. In 2018, the chef announced his departure from Whitegrass, just as the restaurant snagged a spot on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. In the days that followed, Aisbett travelled around Southeast Asia, spending time in Thailand and Vietnam. His initial plan to open a smaller restaurant took a hit when the pandemic occurred. Fast forward to 2022, Aisbett is ready to fire up the kitchen with a spanking new perspective and inspirations marked by his travels. Stay tuned, as we bring you the latest news on his opening!

Raising A Toast (and then some)
Anyone who knows Food News, will know our unquenchable thirst for cocktails. We are stoked to announce our appointment as the regional agency for four of Marriott International’s top bars in the region. Aside from Republic Bar at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia, Singapore, which currently sits No. 12 on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars list; the team will also be working with The Bar at The House on Sathorn in Bangkok, Mary Mary at The Tasman, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart and The Bar at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo.
